Individual attention sets the Ivy Learning Center apart from many other organizations which appear to be similar. Often a good student will have success in many areas, but struggle with exams. We work to quickly identify problem areas and design a personal course to build on strengths while filling in gaps in knowledge.
The Ivy Learning Center, LLC, was founded in 2006 by Rebecca Martin, MPH. Based on her her years of experience working with students, she founded the center with a core group of expert instructors.
The current Director of the Ivy Learning Center, LLC, is Stan Guthrie, M.S., M.Phil. Stan loves working with students. From the abundant base of experts in an Ivy League city, Stan carefully chooses tutors who show more than just mastery of the material, but a desire and ability to help others attain mastery as well.
Stan Guthrie has been tutoring since 1992. He studied physics and mathematics, earning his B.S. from Montana State University. He holds M.S. and M.Phil degrees in physics from Yale University and is currently a doctoral candidate.
